A native Idahoan, Danney Clark is recently retired after a 40-year career in the insurance industry. For the past five years, he found time to write and publish several novels, short stories and poems. Current titles include The Cady Miller Series and The Chronicles of the Widespot Café.

Larry received his A.A. degree in Graphic Arts Administration at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta. Immediately following, he worked for a local commercial printing company in the typesetting department, setting cold type and building paste-up layouts, as well as setting up forms for letterpress printing.
Having an entrepreneurial spirit, he always knew he wanted to be self-employed, and after working for two years in the industry, he started a small commercial printing company. Harvest Printing & Publishing Ltd. opened in the industrial section of northeast Calgary in the summer of 1976.
Larry A. Patrick
After 10 years of successful growth, an opportunity came for Larry to move to Southern California. He sold Harvest Printing and after relocating to Palm Desert, he started LazerWorks, the first digital typesetting company in the Coachella Valley. The next year, 1987, he expanded the company with the purchase of commercial printing equipment, and transitioned the name to PrintWorks. The company grew profitably every year, especially in 1993 with the introduction of the Apple Macintosh desktop publishing system linked to an Agfa-Gevaert imagesetter, another industrial first for the valley. With quality service, PrintWorks grew to almost $1 million annual sales by the 10th year.
Larry sold his share of the company in 1998 and relocated to Boise, Idaho. After working for a couple of years in a local printing business and building up their desktop publishing department, he started Harvest Business Development Corporation.
In 2003 Larry started Enhanced Fundraising Systems, a new marketing and fundraising concept for schools and youth groups. In 2004 he started Pet Friendly Magazine, a monthly family magazine, printing 12,000 copies which were distributed throughout SW Idaho. In 2005 he started The Country Chronicle Magazine. He has since sold both interests.
In 2004 he also started Enhanced Color Reprographics, a desktop publishing, graphics and print sourcing service. He built layouts for magazines, newspapers and other printed items for clients in the greater Treasure Valley, Idaho.
Larry has included website development services, and promoted a few websites of his own. eBooksOnlineClick.com was an online bookstore, eBooksOnlineDesigner.com helping people interested in publishing their own eBooks, and www.TreasuredPetsGroup.com, a local pet resource.
